From Data to Action - Safer Climate at the ACCC & Finnish Atmospheric Network conference

(EN) How to move from data to action? What is the role of individual scientists in climate change discussion and how can civil society, research and art contribute to change together? These are some of the questions discussed in Dr. Rosa Rantanen’s presentation in the ACCC & Finnish Atmospheric Network conference at Tampere University in November 2022. The mini plenary presentation, titled ‘From data to action: towards a safer climate’ showcased some of the Safer Climate activities and the motivation behind them. An important aim of the talk - which is also an important part of our network’s everyday work - was also to provide researchers with ideas how to utilize data and research in promoting social change.

The annual ACCC & Finnish Atmospheric Network meeting aims to increase interaction and collaboration across different research groups in Finland working on atmosphere and ecosystem related topics.
